Double marking on safety valves

Flexible use due to double marking

As of now, all HEROSE safety valves will be marked with the pressure specification according to ASME (psi) and AD2000 (bar). Discharge capacity (SCFM and/or Nm³/h) and certified coefficient of discharge (rated slope and/or Alpha) will continue to be marked according to ASME or AD2000 depending on approval.

If you have ordered a safety valve containing both approvals, you will receive both discharge capacity information (SCFM and Nm³/h) and both certified coefficients of discharge (rated slope and/or alpha) according to ASME and AD2000.

This transition gives you more global flexibility in the place of destination of your safety valve. In addition, the marking with the new double marking offers an improved clarity: from now on you will find all important information clearly visible on the bonnet of your safety valve.
